Hi Fragilis.
I've alerted the Great Debate people to your problems logging in, and they say that this shouldn't be happening. There is a slight bit of extra information they require to log into the Great Debate, but it should still recognise your h2g2 cookie.
They're working on it right now.

Super! Thanks.
Wouldn't it be stellar if this was worked out by the time the General Elections were called?
Anyway, if they ask, I'm using Netscape 4.76 and Windows 98. My browser is set to accept all cookies. Good luck...

Hopefully this problem is now fixed. When you go over to the Great Debate it should ask you for some extra information (as the login requirements are slightly different to h2g2), but it should recognise your existing cookie and retain the information it already has about you.
Care to give it a go? Let me know if it works properly...

It worked correctly this time. Hurrah! I posted a couple of messages, and everything went swimmingly.
I even found the Parliamentary debate section this time.

Excellent - that's a relief. Thanks for checking it out again...
