how about a physical description of the breed- you know, height, colourations, sahpe, tail etc?

I agree - I know what a Saluki looks like - but the average reader might not...

If there's no response, this entry will slide down into the Flea Market, which would be rather a shame.

instead of a description, you could put[a link to] a picture, you might take a photo of your own so as not to deal with messy copyright issues.(sadly we can't have our own pics in h2g2 yet so it would have to be a link. it might be blobbed later though.)

Hey Tex,
This is a great entry and having read this Conversation, I went on a hunt for a picture of the Saluki and came up with this:

It's from the American Kennel Club and is a page devoted to the breed.
