Sorry! smiley - sadface

Looking at this entry, I realized I forgot to check the spelling on that creek! (It always gave me fits when I was a reporter at Carlisle)

It should be spelled 'Conodoguinet Creek' not the attrocious version I typed in the entry.

A thousand pardons!

Cheers Looney!

I figured this one had been out and waiting for a Subedit - that's why I left the message here.

Hope it wasn't too bad for you. smiley - winkeye

A brezze - as always with your stuff Jim. Alas, on checking it (as newly posted on h2g2) I see I missed the second misspelling of the creeks name. Sob

Incidently, do people actually use metal detectors when looking for lost treasure? (As I have taken the liberty of inferring) smiley - bigeyes

Some people do.

Actually, treasure hunting in the backwoods of the USA is something of an obsession with some people (no, I'm not one!). As you can see from the lost treasures entry, there's a lot of lost booty in the woods of Pennsylvania alone.

Cheers! smiley - stout
