About the British rock and roll band 'Oasis'. It's quite a long article, dealing with the music, the members, and the media response.

I think the text of this entry is quite good -- very informative and well-written. Personally, I find the listing of every song and every record/tape/CD ever a little excessive, but I am sure there are those out there who would be glad to see all that info.

I thought this was pretty good too, and liked it more or less as it is. If you wanted to you could cover the listings with a link to a discography site somewhere.

I like this entry
I don't really think it needs the list of releases and dates, just see if there's an oasis site that you can link to for them.
I would also like to see a bit more about the time between Definetly Maybe and What's the Story...
The rivalry with Blur, their first no.1 and so on

The title should be "Oasis, The Band" to avoid confusion with a desert wellspring and its surrounding vegetation.

... or the clothes shops. Or the drink.
You might also want to look at the last line of your second paragraph. Doesn't fit, given what you said in the first paragraph.
I quite likr the dicography bit, but you might want to put the critical aclaim bit before the list of albums/songs. I suspect some people would click out of the entry before they get to it.

You might want to mention the Noel-less version of the band that toured Europe last summer. I saw the Zurich leg of that tour and they rocked. There were rumours at the time that Noel would retreat into the studio, like Brian Wilson, and leave the others to get on with the messy business of touring.
Although I appreciate the article is about the band's recording career, rather than the private lives of its members, you might want also to mention Noel and Liam's showbiz marriages.
Finally, although not a drummer, I would dispute that the first drummer 'lacked originality'. I believe his departure from the group was more because of a personality clash than any lack of talent.

I enjoyed reading this - it's well written and informative. I have Morning Glory and Be Here Now in my collection and it's made me want to dig one of them out and play it for the first time in ages. Thanks!
Chig.
Congratulations!

I don't know if you'd want to, but you could link from this article to the poem I wrote about the band last July when there were persistent rumours the band were splitting up.

Perhaps not.

It's a great poem, but we can only link entries in the Edited Guide to other Edited Guide entries.
