Oh dear, oh dearie dear... Urm, a double entendre is when you say something with a double meaning, one of which is usually innocent, the other of which certainly isn't. So if the lovely Greebo were to happen upon you cutting some firewood with a large axe and said, 'Oh, what a big chopper you've got' that would be a double entendre.

Me too, unsurprisingly... I wrote a sketch for our college revue (longer ago than I'm comfortable accepting) entitled 'The Innuendo Shop' which was three solid minutes of that kind of thing. We were banned from doing it - oh dear, there I go again - as the head of the college thought it might corrupt innocent young minds.
And there's got to be a joke there somewhere but I can't quite figure out what it is...
