I know of no song called "American Pie", but there is "Miss American Pie", which sadly was released recently by a woman who calls herself Madonna as a three minute version, consisting of her waving her bottom in front of an American flag. This was, in my view, a crime that should be punished by the most hidious death possible, as there are some songs which you just should not attempt to re-do, and that was one of them. Sacrilege!
