Ah, yes ... sorry - they don't do a pink one. I see what you mean ... it is a very purple shade of purple, but I expect it will wash out ... in time. It is quite festive ... in a purple sort of way.

Sorry ? Is that all you can say Kes ? I'm sat here looking like an aubergine ! I'm going to look really silly now on Xmas Eve,with my red and white outfit on,I bought espiecally for Xmas too...*Pinky sprays a full can of fake snow all over herself*

There! It's fading into the background quite nicely now. Much less purple. More purple and white. Quite pink on average ... well, bluey-pink. I'm sure you can come out now. The lights in the Snug are so dim that nobody will notice a slight difference in colour.

*Wafts the last of the smoke away, then holds the door open.*

I don't look too much like a Pinky-Purply Snowman do I Kes ? Will anyone recognise me do you think? *Pinky peeps out of the door to make sure the coast is quite clear,then makes a hasty dash to the Snug window where she peers through,just making sure everyone is tipsy.*

*Whistles a chorus of "Close the door, they're coming in the windows" while performing the eponymous action.*

Kes ,instead of dancing around there would you carve some more of that turkey please? I'm making sandwiches here for everyone in the Snug.(Almost did an exclamation mark then ,PHEW,good job Lils not about )

There it is ,my feather duster and WOW ! Not one single person in here either.This must be my lucky year,all alone and spring cleaning to do, without interruption from anyone *Pinky dances around and sings,feather duster in hand, 'I am the dancing queen,hear the beat of the tambourine OH YEH'*

I can dance,I can dance,having the time of my life lalalala lalala I am the Dancing Queen..Oh all of those cob-webs almost gone......Fun Fun Fun lalalalala lalalala la la

*Proffers plateful of mixed turkey sarnies and turkey butties.*
Sorry it took so long. I forgot to turn the oven on. Eventually the turkey sent me a note: "It's freezing in here - either turn the oven on, or give me my feathers back".

* watches as dancing naked turkeys swirl the red mist into a purple haze *

Historic note:
Whether he realised it or not Jimi Hendrix (and let me say he is in my opinion one of the greatest and most creative musical artists of all time) was inspired to write Purple Haze by a 'traditional' tune called Cocaine usually attributed to Dave van Ronk. Their rhythmic structures and melody lines are quite similar and the altered state of consciousness described is eerily familiar.

*Pinky plays her feather duster EVEN LOUDER* 'Scuse me while touch the sky'* Plays the solo part on her teeth,Jimi would be proud*

*Pinky plays Purple Haze as loud as she wants now,she is completely alone and free to do whatever she pleases,reaches up skyward* Got it ! Another cob-web bites the dust .......

*Pinky changes her tune,because she can,and plays 'Just another brick in the wall',looking stylish if I do say so myself,on the table,feather duster screeching extremely loudly now*

*Pinky gasps...she heard a strange noise,what could it be ? Where did it come from ? She jumps down off the table,her feather duster now becomes a weapon,and she hides behind the chair to see whats going on in here*

*The Snughound, having sniffingly detected, drool-lovingly softened and then toothsomely consumed what might once have been a dog biscuit, wedged in the hinge of the committee room door, turns and wobbles slowly back to his spot in front of the Snug fire, unaware of the chaos he has caused on the other side of the door*

PHEW !!!! What a relief Snughound *Pinky lies next to Snughound in front of the ember in the fire,and falls fast asleep*
