Erm - it's been a while...

Sorry for interrupting your good work. My entry, A533783, has now been recommended since the day H2G2 went public again and has not been in the Coming Up list for weeks.
It's not marked pending, though - and I think I remember having read somewhere that the queue is not terribly long.
I'd just like a warm, cuddly reassurance that it's not been lost behind a cupboard somewhere...?
Best regards,
SG V

I see that it is marked 'recommended' as of last week; which means that it has recently been returned by the Sub-editor and now has to have a last once over by an Editor. You should see its status change to 'pending' fairly soon, which will signify that it is about to make its debut on the front page.
Give me a shout if nothing happens in the next few days.

Tx a bunch. Only, the entry was actually recommended 5 weeks ago (according to the peer review thread) - hence my "anxiety"...
(I know - I never was good at being patient )
Kind rgds,

The elapsed time is probably the period between your article being shipped off to be Subbed and then being returned in a state of Subbedness (or is that Subbitude) ready for the in-house team to look over.

I'm also anxiously awaiting a Guide entry that has been labled "recomended" for a very long time now. http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A347708
How long is the wait these days?

If your stuff is tagged 'recommended', you could post a query on the Sub-editors page to find out who is working on it and how long they are likely to take.

If it hasn't reached that point yet, you could ask a Scout to have a look, or refresh interest in the Peer Review thread by posting again.

Thanks John! I think I'll do just that. Since my entry has been recomended for quite some time now...
