Question

Would I be safe using a toaster if my name is NOT Billy, and I have read the instruction manual from my fridge, which is similar to the toaster, just larger and cooler, and without the hole in the top?

I'm afraid not... you see, hot things are hot and cold things are cold. The instructions from your fridge would not help. However, you might be able to get away with it if you use the instructions from for your hob or microwave oven.

But my cooker has hot bits on the top *and* on the front - and my microwave is silver, not white. Would this still work?

It should be fine... silver is very similar to white, only shinier.
