All join hands for Auld Lang Syne,
Propose a toast and raise a cheer,
Make resolutions you might keep,
And grab yourself a pint of beer.
A new year has begun,
Hugs and handshakes pass around.
Kiss a cheek and take a drink,
It's all a bit of fun.
Hogmanay has been and gone.
The days are getting longer now,
Time to reflect on what you have done,
And stagger home to go to sleep.
