I hate to bring the real world into a virtual one but the following BBC new article - http://news.bbc.co.uk/low/english/sci/tech/ newsid_1899000/1899420.stm (Norrath, the setting for the online game Everquest, has been found to be the 77th richest country in the world, sandwiched between Russia and Bulgaria.) got me thinking

In a virtual world where anyone can basically have whatever existance they might wish, trading powers/possesions is a bit of a non-issue, hence the GNP, GDP and everything else of Balwyniti would be 0

I'm not sure if anyone could quantify happiness but you have to admit Balwyniti exports a lot of it
