Lord, give me at least one Parent in my lifetime!

I have spent most of my life wondering what I did to be punished. What was the sin, the crime that I committed that allowed adults and peers to believe that I deserved to be humiliated, isolated, ridiculed and hurt? It took me years to learn that all I had done was to survive my birth.
