No vacation for me this year. smiley - alienfrown

With the cut in salary (and being put on salary) and my investments in a new career in photography (this week was a new laptop that can actually run PhotoShop and LightRoom). Last month is was cameras, lights, stands and reflectors. Maybe next summer I can think about traveling.

See you then, Baron, if all goes well smiley - ok

London in September 2016 is sadly not an option for me, Superfrenchie. I haven't ruled out Manchester in October 100% yet, but the prospects aren't too good

I've got a bunch of free time before my job starts between 2nd Sept and mid-October.

I don't mind if the meet is in Manchester or London, but there needs to be one!

Why not more than one? London in September, Manchester in October (or later)?

There is no time like the present - but that will also be true next spring smiley - zen

I still find it odd that Kate Bush wrote a song about a Washing Machine (and that I like it so much).

Washing machines are so important. But, we seem to do most of ours now with a bucket and some handwash powder and just the occasional big load into the machine smiley - zen there should be more songs about domestic things like washing machines, vacuum cleaners, automatic dish washers, table lamps, and cutlary etc smiley - zen

Just Bob aka Robert Thompson, plugging my film blog cinemainferno-blog.blogspot.co.uk

Whew, all the activity on this thread while I was too lazy too check made me worry that I was missing the event. October would suit me fine, although I'd prefer weekend of 15th to weekend of 8th, because the latter is my birthday so I will have other plans.

You can call me TC

OK - so here we are in September and no date and no venue either for London or Manchester.

I can't do either at short notice, but I have heard that I may be in Manchester in January.

January oughta be doo-able, I'm theoretically starting daily injections October, so by January, hopefully I'll have figured how to do them, and how to travel carrying all the kit and keeping it in a fridge at the same time smiley - huhsmiley - erm and I'll surely have developed some kind of super-hero power by then, there isn't many other drugs they've not put in me now, its gotta have a positive eventually smiley - evilgrinsmiley - vampiresmiley - monster

Just about to lose my easy-to-roam time in a few weeks as I depressingly start actual work. In theory I work in Leeds, so relatively easy to get to Manchester.

In reality, since I'm becoming a consultant I neither work for a living nor can be sure to be in Leeds at any given time
