Dear Kasia, Mina and Arutha,
Titania has just told me about this marvellous inn that you run. I am appalled to learn that I have never heard about it. !!!
Do you think that that those of us who would like to wish one another well and much happiness peace and joy in the year 2010 could come and have a meal and a glass of something next week Friday the lst January 2010
It would be a wonderful way to start the year - in a meeting house which was started in 2000.
I wish you all well and hope that we can meet and enjoy one another's company.
Thank you Titania for guiding me to this thread. I shall post the name and number in the next entry. I forgot ot write it down. !!
Go well,
Christiane

Providing that the three Researchers who started this outward Bound Inn called the Crossed Purposes agree, the New Years Party will be held at this venue.
The Inn was started in 2000 exactly ten years ago. It seems an ideal place to hold a get together of all those who would like to celebrate the birth and growth of this wonderful website.
I hope that they answer Yes and I hope you will all arrive to make the second decade of this century, and of our website even more accessible and companionable.
With affection

Should you like to join all the Researchers who wish to celebrate the tenth new year of our existence and the decade would you please sign in with both your local time and GMT. the party will be on for 24 hours from midnight plus one minute to midnight on Friday lst January 2010.
and if it falls flat on it;s face I shall not give up. Pheloxi arranged my 75th birthday party for me and he had 200 people who virtually came. It would be good to remember those whom we have lost this year and who contributed so much to the spirit of camaraderie and caring which this marvellous website engenders.
sincerely,

Ah, thsnk goodness my dear Titania.
Do you mind if I help you tomorrow and until it is bright and beautiful. I have done so many things and am trying to finish wrapping presents, and writing christmas cards etc. etc.

*spots a very inconspicuous looking door*
*opens it*
Aha! The - uh - well, it's some kind of closet, it is. Very dark though - do we have any flashlight, burning torch or the like? No, hold that, open fire is never a good idea if you don't know where you're going...
*reaches inside and grabs the first object she can feel*
Oooo - nice! A broom! Must be the right place after all!
*reaches inside again*

Actually, no, half german-english, half german-german I had a grandfather named Adolf. I was born and raised in the USA. Funny, no one names their kids Adolf any more, lol. I also had a grandfather named Bill Wilson. My dog is not really a Great Dane, though. Just half. Hence Mediocre Dane. Good to see you again Pierce. I have been away a while. Eric.
