Was just about to check that. Some technical difficulties for our first night out.

Okay here's the deal with the toons (which are now in place).

We (the replacement Post Team) had no idea how the cartoons on the Post got from their creators to tPTB in order to appear on the site. As such, we were going to hold off using any this week and include an apology saying as much.

Over the weekend two entries were created by someone using the Post account, one for each cartoon. The person doing this didn't bother to identify themselves to Reefgirl or I or let us know they'd done it. We assumed it was Shazz. We decided to let the entries stand in the hope that whoever created them would add the cartoons when we went public later in the week.

I had no idea the cartoons were up elsewhere on the site, I really doubt Reefgirl did either. Thanks for telling us; but it wasn't as if we were sitting on our hands letting them be ignored. A little more warning next time would be appreciated.

Reef and I have been pondering the ID of our mystery guest. Pretty sure Titania said she was away on holiday this week... anyway sorted now.

I'm sorry for not catching the h2g2 news thread; but the Post Team ID is subscribed to a huge number of different forums and it's incredibly difficult to keep on top of all of them. A title along the lines of 'news re Post 23.06.05' would've shown up on our radar a bit more prominently. (I'm loath to unsubscribe from anywhere as i'm only here as a temp.)

Remembering to sign in every time I'm using this ID is still getting used to. I don't know about Jimster, but I'm pretty sure that both Reef and I wouldn't mind someone crashing a thread if it was to tell us something we needed to know for the Post.
