Have you tried listening to The Beatles live at the bbc?
Some great tunes on them.Love the tracks I'll be on my way an Shot of Rhythm and Blues.

THe whole song is sung by Paul... Ringo only sings 'Octopus's Garden' on Abbey Rd.. and has a mean drum solo on 'The End'

Yes the Beatltes were very musically jelled,they knew each others tallent and never failed to try something knew.Take the Track magical mystery tour. John and George did great backin to that song even though it werent a really greatly written song.
It showed how the group connected and how closely they were with each other.
As for live at the bbc i love groups,singers etc doing their music live you can see how good he/she they are as a combination.As on recorded music the musicians record the song untill the track is perfect.
