h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I found the Game today and already got frustrated: after every death I wake up in pitch dark bedroom. Tell me, pals, what's the mysterious way to save it?
When I type 'save' it says 'What would you like to call your saved game?' So I enter something and then: ' Sadly, we coulnd't open a game of that name. Failed.'
Yeh, perhaps I'm doing something obviously wrong and can't realise I am? The Game is entertaining, but only if I can do whatever I want, without strong urge to do it right, because I loathe the bedroom..

Sadly, the Hitchhiker game was supported by the BBC not h2g2. Some of our Guru's used to be able to supply answers for this game, but once the BBC sold the site h2g2.com has been unable to help in this area.

I hope it doesn't stop you enjoying our site, I have left a message with hints to help you find your way around
