Takes sewing machine from the cupboard to create a smarthphone pouch from old jeans.

Cuts two pieces of fabric from the bottom of one trouser leg, including a piece for the strap.

Fixes belt strap to main piece while it is still reachable.

Stitches main piece inside out, taking care to reverse direction several times in order to fix the seams in place at the start and end.

Cuts away excess material and loose threads.

Turns the end product outside out.

Fixes pouch to belt and slides smartphone in.

Puts jeans back on.
