Hmmm...I didn't think much of that one, the parts of speech were all wrong - should've been "touch beach bum", IMHO. By putting "Touching" implies answer should also end -ing - same part of speech, y'see?

I don't have a paper, so I'm going to *make one up*! Gasp! See if my clue-setting skills are up to it...

Incidentally, I'm not very fond of the HIJKLMNO clue, as it doesn't give a definition, and therefore does not qualify to my mind as a proper cryptic clue.
