Is the first word, backgammon?

I am so hopeless at these , just when I think I have got the general idea of what to look for, I discover I don't....hehehe...

I was thinking it was either backgammon or chess, but really I don't know, just bouncing of freddy and bagpuss, cos they seem like intelligent guys and are prolly onna right track, so I'm following...

I also thought that 'annotation'might be the first word cos that is to do with movement around the chess board...

And what a ploughman expects from his board (i.e. his food) is his lunch. His ploughman's lunch. Trust me, it's correct.

I meant to do a after 'understated' to show that I realise that I am an intelligently stupid, and I frequently and I don't really mind startling other people with the odd directions my brain misfires

Noogie is when you tuck someones head under your arm, and sorta ruffle their hair with your knuckles in a playful manner, some people do it with malicious intent, but bascially its just fer fun.....that was how I meant it, virtuoso...
