The last time I saw something like this in the Thames was in 1977, was when I went to the British Genius Exhibition in Battersea Park. Crossing Chelsea Bridge to get a better view of Battersea Power Station there, in the Thames, was a big dolphin/porpoise gently swimming just off the wharf. It was oblivious to all the traffic noise and other watchers, and I watched it for over half an hour.
However this is not the only mammal seen in the Thames. It appears Seals are becoming more common as well.

Anyone else seen strange sightings in Rivers.
