Thanks for that. And, er, sorry for the long delay since the last edit. I'll try to edit now it's the Uni break.

I did mention the 2'55" version (almost my favourite smiley - biggrin), but only once or twice in more-or-less roundabout ways, so I'll work on fixing that.

Thanks for that, anyway. I'll lose the first-persons and expand the 'Journey of the Sorcerer' section as well... or should, if I don't forget.

Whoops, okay. Just re-read and I see what you mean.

Incidentally, would anyone have a copy of the Reg Nullify track? I have the other three tracks from the album, but I've tried and tried and never found an actual recording of it. I do have the lyrics - should I pop them in the article as well?

I've updated the article. I've also edited it and reformatted it (it was very inconsistent). I also have a feeling that I've made a typo somewhere near the end, but I can't see it now.

I've tried to scale back the, er, overly-enthusiastic kiddy language (smiley - biggrin). Any thoughts?

I've got the Reg Nullify track on the back of the single but I think I must have put it back in the wrong box after adding the details in my last posting (this is potentially disasterous given that I have several thousand singles sitting around in various places). I'll let you know when I find it. If I forget, or if I'm too distracted off site, give me a reminder prod (my email is on my personal space).smiley - smiley

Entry looks good BTW smiley - ok

Thanks. I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I'll probably try and edit it at some point in the future.

Okay, I've finally re-edited and -formatted it. The table's aren't horrible anymore and, overall, I don't think it looks too bad.

Can anyone spot any errors or omissions I made? I honestly haven't seen an article like this anywhere else, so I'd like to make this as complete and comprehensive as possible (without going into things like what brand of magnetic tape Tim Souster used). smiley - biggrin

Well it looks pretty damn good to me. Certainly looks ready for the joys of PeerReview - I would recommend you move it immediately, thus opening the piece up to a larger critique based audience smiley - ok

Journey of the Sorcerer... man I love that tune smiley - smiley

Sorry, told you I'd get distracted. Here's the link to Reg (for a limited time only):

http://www.esnips.com/doc/807989aa-79e4-419e-b3fd-ab72c659a234/Reg-Nullify-In-Concert

One correction, the Marvin single 'Reasons To Be Miserable / Marvin I Love You' was actually branded as a double B side.

The two Marvin singles were released on Polydor
POSP 261 for 'Marvin'
POSP 333 for 'Reasons / MILY'

Both were produced by John Sinclair for Sarm Productions.

The double B Side featured a logo of Marvin holding a record with 'Depressive Discs' written underneath and also carried the words: 'For further details of how bad life can be, write to: The Marvin Depreciation Society, 2 Whitechurch Lane, London E1.

I don't know if they still exist smiley - smiley

Thanks for the info, Radox. I've added it in (and credited you, too). Thank you very much also for Reg Nullify in Concert. Now my collection is complete! (Bar the Don't Panic towel.) smiley - tongueincheek

Thanks a lot, too, vogonpoet - I shall submit this to Peer Review!

Gosh, thanks fyc, I wasn't expecting a credit on the entry. You didn't have to do that, it's your entry after all. I'm just happy to help.

If you've managed to get a copy of the Reg file, I'll reset it to listen only before someone gets upset smiley - whistlesmiley - musicalnotesmiley - musicalnote. Like you, I am also on the lookout for the infamous 'Don't Panic' towel. I always regret not buying one years ago when they were advertised in the back of Private Eye. smiley - towel

Well, you have provided me with quite a bit of info on the records, so I thought I ought to. Thanks for the help - there's only so much info on this stuff that one can find online and in books without asking. smiley - biggrin

Yep, I've got a copy - thank you a lot for that.

You seem to be at least a step closer to that towel than I am - I've never even seen an ad for it, only pictures!
