JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?)

Uhm, this thing works on verbal commands?
*looks around, nobody's looking*
Ok, ICR, I want Thai.
*Small man with strawhat appears*
Oh dear.
Excuse me, Thai-person, uhm...Do you understand english?
SMWSH: Perfectly well, yes.. And my name is Ping.
JAR: Oh. Well, nice to meet you Ping. I'm JAR. You wouldn't know how to cook, do you?
*Huddles Ping into a large, warm blanket and carries him out, paying for him at the door*

JAR (happy to be back, but where's Ping?)

*Ping returns alone, runs up to the ICR, orders a large amount of exotic ingredients, searches the isles until he finds a box of cocoe, pays and runs out again*

*WM waves to JAR on his way out*

*Thinks...*

*mumbles* Wait a minute, that ICR was never voice activated before. I wonder if Affy installed an Infinite Improbability Chip in the ICR that I don't know about.

*Comes in, confused*

I don't remember it being voice activated. It was touch activated. Perhaps there's a slight glitch in the system.

*Pulls out his tools and begins working on the ICR. Slides out a note*

Remember, Ping is now an h2g2 creation. JAR, you *must* provide for his existence as per the continuity sage's suggestions.

Up until now, I was preparing the food myself and scanning it into the holographic display when I placed it into the ICR. I have no idea what happened to cause it do this!

Affy, a voice activated, ordering processing fridge is not necessarily a bad thing. As long as I understand ~how~ the orders are getting filled.

Frankly, I'm not looking forward to spending my golden years sending sandwiches back in time like Irv and the IIEM! smiley - bigeyes
