A problem I've not come across before :)

I've handed over a Guide Entry I didn't have time for to a couple of Researchers. Typed in their Reasearcher Numbers, and clicked Set Researchers. Their names are on Current Researchers List, one of them says they are unable to edit entry. So what daft thing have I omitted to do. It's usually something obvious that I over-look. smiley - laugh

That's not how you hand over control of an article. All you have done is credit them with research and make the article appear on their MA#?type=2 list. You are still the editor. Only(?) the italics can genuinely transfer control of an article to someone else and then still not to 2 people simultaneously. They would have to set up a joint account and copy the text to a new article created/owned by that account in order to work on it together.

Thanks SEF.

Emmily, if you want to change the ownership of the page, I'll do it for you. As SEF says, I can only give it to one Researcher unless they set up a joint account.
