Alas, we don't.

For reasons of copyright and all that the BBC does not allow to use other smileys than the ones they themselves give us.

But is is a nice one anyhowsmiley - ok

You can't import smileys into h2g2 -- not possible here, at least as of now. The ones we have are the ones you can use. The full list of Smileys is at <./>Smiley</.> if you haven't checked it out yet.

I know that some h2g2 researchers have managed to create some of their own smileys -- Subcom Deidzoeb made me a 2cents smiley back in the days before h2g2 made one for us. But the methods looked pretty tedious to me.

Unfortunately, no one can "import" smilies into h2g2. Used to be we could upload our own images, but after we moved to the BBC almost 2 years ago, that quit being the case, and we can only use the images and smilies provided on-site.

But we've got a pile as is! go here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/Smiley

In fact, the smiley you have linked to looks a lot like smiley - rainbow.

And I don't think you can "cut down on the length" of such links. They're just long. smiley - erm

Unless I misunderstand you - let me know. smiley - ok

Hope some of that's helpful.

Well thank you all for your feedback. I thought that might be the case with copyright, couldn't have the BBC having it's pants sued off over a tiny smiley could we. I'm sure you have probably seen this one with chattering teeth but here it is any way. You'll need to scroll page A617078

Well thanks a bunch Bogey! You're a real smart Guy, Gal, Person or Extra Terrestrial as the case may be in these politically correct times.

Say don'cha think it's strange that the Government are getting ready to blast the ass off innocent civilians including both male and female children/babies yet they attach, apparently, more concern to political correctness in the way we address each other?

But I guess they think correct addressing is important if the bombs are gonna get sufficient random innocents to make sure of a slim chance of getting Saddam. But it's no laugh, sorry no smiley!
