You can call me TC

Yay! Another blast from my school day past!

You explain most of the abbreviations, but perhaps you could expand LWT, as it is not self-explanatory (and I assume it no longer exists?)

Thanks for reading through - I adjusted the LWT section and added a footnote smiley - footprintssmiley - musicalnote about it now. No, LWT no longer exists and is one of the companies gobbled up by Carlton-Granada before they became ITV plc.

Interesting section about Thames Television - when I hear their theme tune I think of Quentin Crisp and 'The Naked Civil Servant' smiley - ok 'George and Mildred' that I watched recently was also a Thames Television production smiley - ok

"a curry house on 11 May" - 11 May, 1968?

I never watched either of those back in the 80s, so I think I'd remember it more for old children's television, such as made by Cosgrove Hall.

Anyway, I've added the year (1969) to that section and thanks again for re-reading.
