McNab's Hypothesis

McNab's Hypothesis states that:

A cat devoid of feet is not subject to gravity.

The Hypothesis was first suggested by Randy McNab in 2005. Experimental evidence is still lacking, but a partial logical proof has been provided by McNab.

The Hypothesis is currently steeped in controversy, as it appears to contradict McCrone's Law and, more generally, Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation. However, the obscurity of the initial conditions required by McNab's Hypothesis has meant that no practical change has been required in the use of either Law.

Research is ongoing.
