Author: Mina - U290

You might remember seeing this one before - I've picked it out of Flea Market. I haven't really done much to it, just tidied it up, and added an intro.

I think everything in the original PR thread was actually addressed by the original author, so I'm not sure why it wasn't picked. There was work to be done, but it seems a shame it was left neglected for so long.

The original entry is here - A862850, and the original PR thread here - F102792?thread=220188

A shame for suresmiley - sadface

GTB was right about Echidna (rather than Echdina), so there's one to correct.

That's weird, it started as Echidna, and I don't remember changing it. smiley - huh It's back the way it was now. smiley - ta

According to my book, Hera sent gadfly to torture Io.

I've updated it to say some sources state it was a gadfly, as well as changed the info on how Hermes bored Argus to sleep - I've added and then cut off his head.

a good story but with a typo in the ending. I believe I read
"cast their stones at Hermes feet if guilty, or at Hermes feet if innocent..." shouldn't one of those be at Hera's feet?

I've read the entry and I think it does a good job with the myth. It's nice of you to reclaim it from oblivion.

If you are still in the market for typos here are a few minor ones. They are all clustered in the Captured section:

- In the list of Echidna's offspring Chimera shares the same bullet point as his brother Cerberus.
- "...naturally paid attention too Hermes" s/b "...naturally paid attention to Hermes".
- "Hermes brought his sword down and cut of Argus' head." s/b "Hermes brought his sword down and cut off Argus' head."
