It's a good job Edinburgh's small enough that you can do that sort of thing, and still be in another part of town a mere 20 minutes later. Can't see that happening in London....
And a very nice pint (or 2...) it was too!

Considering I only really know about six roads in Edinburgh it was extremely lucky actually.
