*This is my office, the nerve-centre of L'hotel Chrome. It is panelled in tupelo maple, with two large bay windows behind the massive mahogany desk in the centre of the room. On the left wall is a large roaring fireplace and several bookcases, surrounded by several comfy armchairs. I am often to be found in one of those chairs, curled up with a good book.
