Oral Sex
Created | Updated Sep 2, 2003

Oral sex is very popular in those bastions of experimentation, college campuses (see Emory University), and empty parking lots near secondary schools (at least in the car-crazy United States). One reason for its popularity in the younger, unmarried demographic may be due to the fact that it carries no direct risk of pregnancy. However, oral sex is a method of transmission for sexually transmitted diseases, therefore the utmost caution and preventive measures should be taken. A second reason for the widespread use of these techniques may be the ambiguous nature of these contacts. For example, one who has engaged in oral sex, but not intercourse often continues to claim that he or she remains a virgin. The vague classification of this act was made clear to the entire world in a scandal involving the President of United States in 1998 and 1999.

Note: "Head job" is a popular slang term for oral sex used in North American English.
