We desperately need for readers to be able to post comments to Edited Guide entries only, without signing up for an account at least once - if they want to post again they have to sign up to avoid people chattering. Genuine posters won't find it a bind if they want to discuss an entry, but having to sign up to post a simple comment probably does put people off.
I've also thought we needed a specific 'lasted posts to EGE' list, which would also help us to keep an eye on posts made by anonymous members.
Thanks for the summary - and I'd missed Derek's post, so it was useful to see it here.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
