Oh Psycho-
How absolutely beautiful your walk must have been. And how wise to make that choice. But your navigating skills could not have been too damaged by all those Montys!! You might have walked back to Auckland by mistake.
Your walk brought back beautiful memories when I had done the same thing - moons ago, walking along the beach in the moonlight. And the memory of it sent delicious shivers up my spine. So thank you so much.
The story of the trees with the sharkskin is also fascinating. You have a real gift for writing. Did I tell you that K. read your last posting and he immediately said
"Maman, can we go to New Zealand"?. I must get more cartridges so that I can print this one. I am running seriously low on ink
The forest walk sounds great as well. No wonder we did not hear from you for ages. You were busy feeding your spiritual self on nature my friend. Thank you so much for sharing it so beautifully with us.

I'm so glad you're still reading and enjoying my NZ travelogue, and that it's bringing back happy memories. It's doing the same for me writing it!
And if it's making people want to go there, then my job is certainly done!
