i am the only son of albert, toms son born in 1901 and was very pleased to find this data on your web page having only recently been in touch with chelsea lodge. tom was a member from 1907 to 1913.
my father who married before ww2 never spoke much about his parents and immediate family. i was born 3 months before toms death. i beleive that there had been some problems which my parents never discussed.
i recollect as a child a promotional serpia photo of tom leaning on a stool wearing spats and with a pipe in his mouth with the wording happy tom parker comedian at the bottom. i also remember playing with his masonic apron, but these have all long since been lost. my father was a very good tap dancer and loved ballroom dancing as well as being able to play the spoons thus keeping up some of the family traditions. he became a civil servant after the war and worked part time in the theatre ticket side. my sister susan became a ballet/modern dancer/teacher in turin, italy. she died earlier this year and her obituary was reported in the arts page of lespata
the show goes on
