It's also reasonably popular with the movies. Whenever there's a mixed martial arts tournament movie (a la Bloodsport, The Quest, Mortal Kombat), the token black guy always fights using capoeira.
And in the trailers for Mission Impossible 2, Tom Cruise appears to be using a form of capoeira in a fight scene..
