Huh, never realized just how similar to Finnish Quenya is until reading some of it. Yes, I knew Tolkien studied Finnish to be able to read the Finnish national epic Kalevala in the original language and yes, I knew Finnish was one of his three favourite languages he used to create the Elven language Quenya, but still...

Holy crap, trying to find a specific poem (my very first one, I think, I didn't realize it was a poem until I saw the comments) I realize I've written a *lot of journals. Well, no wonder, I've been writing journals on h2g2 for over a decade - but still...

And happy new year here on GMT! I'm a bit late, but I was distracted by the fireworks. And then the interview with the firework experts. And then the recap of all the other firework displays around the world ...

Oh, and as to the Scandinavian Crime thingy - Jo Nesbø is really great. Gruesome at times, but great. The page listing is not really complete - this is the list from Nesbø's own site: http://jonesbo.com/#!/books (Headhunters, at the bottom, is not a Harry Hole novel, as far as I recall)
Key: Complain about this post
