Pawdon me, Mum, I couldn't help but notice your plight. My job, after all. If I may be so bold as to suggest this, on behawlf of our Mawnagement, perhawps it would please you to borrow a set of shoes, while we remedy the sticky situation in which you hawve found yourself.

Compliments of the House, whilst we clean your personal set. You may hawve yours back once we are finished, or you may choose to accept an exchange of the afore-mentioned articles, with the understawnding that we may have need to utilize the originals to aide in another customer's plight.

Would that be acceptable, then?

I watched a prgramme on face transplants instead of smiley - football after playing online. My bio in the game mentions h2g2 and it's amazing the amount of players who come up to me in the game checking I've got my smiley - towel! I love the internet it is so smiley - cool

MR, I am sure you will so much better getting his stuff organised. I can remember the feeling of complete satisfaction after having the cleaned the house from top to bottom after my ex husband left. I did such a thorough job that I don't think the CID's finest could have found a fingerprint remaining. Especially satisfying as my ex was in the CID.

Woohoo, caught up with my own calling card that I dropped off here on what must have been Thursday, I'm not quite sure, seeing as how everything in Canada is so odd. Anyway, I'm back from Vancouver, and will finish catching up with another week of backlog soon. I hope smiley - wah

MR, congrats on getting started! Good job.

Amy, Z - sorry about your teams loss. I don't get to watch any soccer, but I understand what you're feeling. See, I'm from Buffalo, NY, and my favorite team in high school was the Buffalo Bills (american football). For those of you who don't know, the Bills went to the superbowl (american football championship match) 4 TIMES IN A ROW AND LOST EACH TIME. I understand the pain and agony of watching sports. And now I'm a Red Sox fan. Am I a glutton for punishment?

dave, dear, being a Red Sox fan is just sad. Pathetic and sad.

That's okay, my team's the Twins, who since 1992 have sucked lemons.

Ahh yes but in England we love a looser, supporting Manchester United (the most successful football team of the past decade) gives one a status of a 'glory hunter' who should be supporting one's local team. Of course if one is from Manchester one should support Manchester City, who, well, aren't the most successful football team of the past decade.

Today's game was England playing Portugal in the European championship quarter finals, and it was pretty damn close.
