Z, what I meant was that I won't have to worry about rebuilding the surplus after this year because I've already done it. And we have an endowment now to cover large emergencies, so what I have won't be wiped out every other year anymore. I'm not thinking of resigning. At least not until the smellfungus is safely off the board. It would give her too much satisfaction.

Hmmmm..... Some things I like; other things I don't. I like knowing that I've missed 382 postings since I last dropped a line; that's REAL handy. And I really enjoy hunting for a way to get back to my Personal Space using my mouse pointer--used to be up there, now it's only over here... Ah, and isn't it marvelous that you HAVE TO cycle through three screens just to Unsubscribe from a conversation? I've even gotten to the additional time delay while waiting for my pages to load (on this side of the pond), as I can clean under my nails or pick nits off my clothing that would otherwise be SUCH an embarrassment...
