...or angel? Just wondering, because I tend to misspell angel every now and then myself...

I emailed Hyp about that but unfortunately she had gone home before reading it. I googled and found almost as many recipes for 'angle' cake (based in the US) as I did for angel cake which is the name I am familiar with.
Hyp has since emailed and said she meant 'angel' so I'll probably amend it when I get a few moments.

I do know how to spell angel. Really! I just can't type. 
And the spell checker didn't work since both are real words. Sorry ladies for the confusion.
