the funny thing is, that I realize, that sometimes people who grow up only 50km from each other have problems to understand the different dialects ... although for me it all sounds "schwäbisch"
Here, north of Heilbronn you had influences from Schwaben(south), Baden (west), Franken(north) and Hohenlohe(east), so you should be careful what you say ...

I mean, what you say about the people, and therefore it´s a problem, because I can not distinguish them. (not that I would really care)
But nice person as I´m, I do not say anything bad about other pepole at all

Yes you didn´t
Maybe because here is not deep-down-Schwabenländle, I think there are worse dialects ...

Hi - I'm wandering about looking for Bossel - it's very odd that he's disappeared.
While I'm here, I'll have some to pass the time.
Floh and AXR - are we going to manage to get to see the Hitchhiker's film together (in the OV) when it comes to Karlsruhe?
The film is released on 9 June here in Germany - I doubt if it'll be available for viewing in English before that, even though it has now already been released in the UK. (the others have seen it already )

maybe but KA is not that close and usually I havn't so much time, so it might be difficult to find a day.
I didn't know that the release day is so close ...

We could go to Heidelberg, if that's nearer for you, but that's further for Floh then.
The most central would be on a line between Offenburg and Stuttgart, in which case Stuttgart might be the most likely place to show the film.
I don't know if Ottox and Sunny are still in Basel, or if Hell or someone else from Munich could then be included.....

maybe we should make a "call" via yahoo-groups and see if it still works.
What do you think about a sunday afternoon, maybe the 12th or the 19th around 5 or 6pm.
We could make a h2g2-south-germany-movie-meet-up out of the whole thing also. Meet for lunch , see the city (which we have to choose) and then the movie.
... or something like that ...

That's a very good idea. If it's as hot as it is today we could meet at a swimming pool.

Heidelberg sounds fine as well. It's much nicer than Stuttgart And I could go together with sunny and Ottox.
We're going to sell our VW-Bus soon. On sunday we'll buy my father's Lupo (a little bit faster than the bus ) and in about 3 weeks we'll get our 11t-fire-truck (very much slower ).
