Does anyone have any tips for a born-and bred Brit moving to Idaho in the next few weeks?
(anyone who mentions potatoes gets a sperm whale dropped on them)

OK, don't tell me.... excluding potatoes doesn't leave much to discuss?
There must be something.....

Living next-door (so to say) in Western Washington, one gets the impression that Idaho is rife with narrow-minded white people and downright racists. I read an article last fall about an extra-ordinary number of students graduating from Idaho high schools who were going to go to out-of-state colleges so they could see people of color, the ocean, and just get away from the sense of confinement. I hope, for your sake, it proves more pleasant.

OK, how about hops! Idaho provides most of the hops found in American beers! Also, if you're into nature and outdoor activities, you'll have a good time there!
