Ah yes but that's the point of the game... trying to find the biggest word possible from the letters provided... the rules do say that there's no guarenteed 9 letter word each week... ~hugs~

True. And there was me thought that most weeks you just looked up a nine letter word and rearranged the letters.

Come on Greebo, admit it: the word was supposed to be OUTSPOKEN, and you swapped the U for a second E by accident!

~big grin~... If you check the archives there are several weeks were there has been no 9 letter word... it keeps the game going longer... usual me just hits any keys on the kepboard but last weeks letters are an anagram of something me was thinking about at the time... a website me frequents... other than h2g2 of course... so outspoken was never a possibility... ~hugs~

I totally agree. It burns out Meriam Webster as well on a Thursday morning
They must notice a peak in activity after about 10 o'clock.
