The what did Tolkien mean? thread

On November 19th 2003, Shorncanary asked the question 'What did Tolkien mean?'

Over the course of the next 8 months, and over a 1000 posts later, the question remains debateable and unanswered.

The result however has been a thread that has more information on Tolkien then the guide itself has. Specific details such as thge relationship between Denethor and his sons, the role of wizards, and other things that ive long since forgotten have all been mentioned.

This project will hopefully turn that entire thread into several guide enteries.

Theres a volunteer thread below, so use there to sign up, then post ideas with some basis and we'll get started
