If I get time this weekend I'll make all mentions of articles and researchers into links, but no promises. Oh, and does that Astrix of Gaul come in an English version? I had never heard of it, so I looked it up on the net for the article (along with Terinaki, which is how I knew it was in New Plymouth) and it looks pretty cool.

Absolutely, which was just as well cos my French wasn't that hot when I was 6. In fact, I believe there are both English *and* American variants. Some of the joke names were retuned for a Stateside audience.
