British Rail

At 86 years old I can still remember my first train ride on the L.N.E.R. line that left Grimby in Lincolnshire and travelled to New Holland where one could get on to a Ferry Boat and cross about a mile of muddy water to get to Kingston upon Hull.

Today we can send people to the Moon but the rail lines still have not altered.

Imagine then, if all the railway lines and wooden sleepers were replaced by Magnetic Force travel about twenty feet up in the air we could say goodbye to wood worm, accidents happening at road crossings, and the steel used in the railway lines could be recycled to build this new concept that would need no wooden sleepers.

So the trees would be able to grow back and the exhaust fumes would no more.
And the ground where the lines had been could be reclaimed.

The vehicles transporting the public would have free reign and accidents caused at road crossings would be a thing of the past.
In years gone by the Railways progressed to where they are today at the cost of many lives.

However WW2 is a sad reminder of people who just sat on their hands and ignored the sabre rattling and rantings of Hitler and his mob then decided when it was way too late to do something about it.

The Railways of today are out of date due to being on the ground where road crossings cause more trouble than any thing else so the only way to clear this problem is to hoist the transport higher and over. Slainte T
