leaves a !
I remember listerning to radio 5 just after that climate change report came out, and the amount of texts that came in saying 'they haven't taken account of the solar cycle' or similar was amazing
I managed to get an email read out that went along the line of 'the reason that these hundred+ scientists were gathered together was because they are experts and between all of them, they will not have missed anything out. If they wanted the half thought through opinions of the lay-man they would have invited a bunch of white van drivers.' I'm now hated by the majority of white van drivers in the UK!! (result)
At the recent climate change protests, a bunch went to sit ourside Sizewell B. Without Sizewell B and its nuclear breathern, how are we going to reduce CO2 levels? Large Scale hydroelectric, solar and geothermal are impracticle in the UK and seperate groups of greens will protest against Tide, Wave and wind power. The simplified view of 'nuclear = The Corportion = Teh Bad' is my main objection to the Green movements in the UK and as soon as they wake up and smell the uranium, they will most likely get a lot more respectable scientists speaking out for them

Ah, nuclear - tricky...
Yes, definitely looks like a very sensible place to start minimising CO2 emissions.
No, I can't trust private firms or the Government to responsibly/adequately deal with the waste.
Yes, fossil fuels, dont make me cry; tide/wave/wind, dont tell the RSPB.
