A25159520 - Egyptian Pyramids
I wouldn't describe the pyramids as "scattered about the Nile Delta". For a start, none of them are in the Delta itself, as the Delta is agricultural land and they never built the pyramids on agricultural land, always in the desert. Secondly, the Pyramids go much further south than the Delta. I'd say "scattered along the west bank of the Nile."

The pyramids are not tetrahedral. A tetrahedron has three sides and a triangular base. The pyramids have four sides and a square base.

'The pyramids are not tetrahedral. A tetrahedron has three sides and a triangular base. The pyramids have four sides and a square base.'
Yes, although it's a somewhat circular argument, a tetrahedron is a triangular pyramid whereas a 'pyramid' is a square pyramid.

Yes. There are two types of pentahedron:
1. The 'square pyramid' I described above, with a square or rectangular base and 4 triangular sides; and
2. Another name for a triangular prism (i.e. 2 triangular faces separated by 3 rectangular faces.
So, in order to describe an Egyptian pyramid as 'pentahedral', one wouldhave to distinguish between these variations > clumsy. Better to describe them as being 'suare-based (regular) pyramids

changed to "scattered along the west bank of the Nile"
I'll leave the description of the shape until a decision is made.

Post 13 done
Also I've changed "canoptic" (jars) to "canopic" and I'd like to ask if this should be Canopic (they are named after Canopus, a town).

Part 3 - Rebuilding
When the Dynasty died out, the final Pharaoh's Vizier, Amenemkhat, assumed power and founded the 12th Dynasty.
next para: Amenemhat III
Is it Amenemhat or Amenemkhat, Giford?

I'm not sure what you mean by East-West axis and North-South axis when you're talking about buildings which are square.
"The main structure would have had sides smoothed by plaster and painted white" -- have you any evidence for this?
There seems to be a bug in IE7 in that it puts a huge space between ka and the footnote sign, although there is nothing in the GuideML to do this.
one or more burial chamber --> one or more burial chambers
hidden burial temples -- I'd say "tombs carved into the living rock" instead.
I've always seen the builder of the second Giza pyramid as Khafre rather than Khafra, but I know there are a number of ways of spelling Egyptian names. Just check that spelling, please.
it has lead to much speculation --> it has led to much speculation
It has to be said against the Orion theory that the dimmest star is only slightly dimmer than the other two, while the small pyramid is only one half the height and one eighth the volume of the others.
"docking station" doesn't sound like the right word for a wharf or harbour.
You say "The examples at el-Medina were built during the New Kingdom, after the Pharaohs had ceased building massive pyramids." and then in the next sentence "Pyramid building on this scale belongs exclusively to the Old Kingdom." It's not clear what you mean by "on this scale" but it seems to refer to the New Kingdom pyramids in El-Medina, leading to a contradiction.
"No pyramid has survived unpillaged into the modern era, and most were looted in antiquity. " -- I'm not sure what you mean by this. All the pyramids were looted in antiquity, but that's the same as saying that none survived unpillaged.

Ignore that comment about the bug in IE7. It seems to have sorted itself out.
