first of all, my last name is malinowski....secondly, at least your babe doesn't have to sleep WITH you to sleep.
that tends to be uncomfortable from the other side of the bed's perspective.

Well, she's been in her own crib since we came home from the hospital, so she's not gotten a chance to expect to sleep in our bed Actually, we tried that when my inlaws were in her room over Christmas, and it didn't work...
Hm, so far I've written about the birth, and now this... I wonder if she'll be speaking to me in a few years, or if she'll be too mortified?

oh, she'll talk to you.
when she wants toys, or clothes or the peanut butter from the shelf, where you put it out of her reach.
waking up to find a toddler smeared in peanut butter (with a soggy diaper) is not easy to contend with.
explaining to a two-year old why i can pee standing up and she and mommy have to sit down is another challenge.
right now, i suspect you know all too much about burping and spit-up.

I was thinking more when she's old enough to read and realize I've told folks around the world all about her

days gone by, i'd sit and read with a toddler, pointing out each word as i said it. she could read/tell me her books around age three, and then i got her dr. suess books.
didn't know if she was left-handed or right-handed, either, she scribbled both ways.
