It is just a little trick of Guide ML, called a viewer tag. Nothing to be alarmed about.
Anybody going in there will see their own name

I had an abscence from h2g2 and when I came back everyone had that tag and the little eyes to show I was online. Well, one of my friends had set the viewer tag up to say that the Mod's (that's the moderation team in case you didn't know) were looking out for me, so I got scared that the little eyes meant that I was 'wanted' by the Mods. Very silly of me!

When I was a newbie, I used to read the Intro Pages of my friends, but only when they were offline
If their eyes 'appeared' while I was reading, I used to feel guilty and scamper out of there!

Do you find the official h2g2 lurker badge a bit scary, those bright eyebrows, very menacing I always thought!
