Those other people might be on a different dna sub-site than h2g2, ie one on which you haven't registered your own account.

Hello Poster girl
i have had a look at your page and you have tried to put a picture in and it has displayed what you need to do is
1)Go to edit your page
2)move down to just below the writing box you should see
Preview in skin: Alabaster / Preview / Update Introduction
Plain text / GuideML
you need to click the circle next to guide ml
3)Next you need to change your smiley's becouse them smileys will cause a error when in guide ml
